OVERVIEW

There's a world where Ojulari falls to 44 as he still rounds out his run defense to be an every down player. His pass rush toolbox is tantalizing and would instantly contribute to Robert Saleh's front four.

SUMMARY

Ojulari was awarded the special number 18 jersey at LSU for displaying high character both on and off the field, displaying the level of team leader he is.

He’s a stand up rusher with bursting agility that will test the outside shoulder of offensive tackles. Ojulari can dip his shoulder and turn the corner to win without being touched (hello, Ghost move). When in a stalemate, he loves to spin off of blockers. Per PFF, he had a 17.7% pass rush win rate in 2022.

In the SEC championship, Ojulari beat projected first round tackle Broderick Jones a few times. His speed rush ability will translate to an NFL field from day one.

The rest of his game is a work in progress, notably his strength as an edge run defender. A glass half full outlook is he just turned 21 this month. His frame and overall power is still growing, but require patience throughout his rookie season.

He’ll be a pass rush specialist as a rookie with the work ethic to grow into an every down player. His pass rush tool box with key traits is worth a late first round selection.

Ojulari had a pre-draft visit with the Jets.
