Bulldozer
A tractor trailer with immense mass and straight line power, Bradford won’t be for everyone. His build limits his mobility and balance, but his ability to relocate defenders to a different county can change an entire units run game.
When asked to move in a straight line, Bradford gets out of the gate and rolling downhill fast. If he gets his hands on linebackers or defensive backs, they are going for a ride. Even smaller pass rushers tend to go flying when stuck in a phone booth with him.
Where he runs into trouble is against inside speed. He doesn’t have the foot quickness to consistently cut off rushers or blitzers that work through the A gap. When he has help from the center or is squaring off against power he’s fine.
Bradford takes some projecting into a scheme looking to maximize his power in limited range. A team with a veteran center or tackle playing next to him will go a long way for his development and comfort in pass protection. It’s hard not to be infatuated with his unique ceiling in the run game, making him a day two swing worth going for if he fits your run scheme.
