Zay Flowers

Boston College was not a good football team in 2022 but Zay Flowers alone was enough of a reason to turn into their games every Saturday.

Flowers is a threat at all three levels as a wide receiver. He is explosive getting out of his breaks and can accelerate past defenders with ease. He runs a full route tree and can play outside as well as in the slot. For a smaller WR he is competitive at the catchpoint and brings down contested catches at a higher rate then WR’s much bigger than him.

Flowers is a smaller WR with sub 30 inch arms that do restrict his catch radius. He is going to face a much higher level of competition at the next level. A lot of his tape he is running wide open and we have to see how he will handle the physicality and talent of the next level.

Flowers is an incredibly dynamic WR who has all the tools to be a nightmare for defenses at the next level. His size might be what stops him from being a true WR1 but as a high end WR2 he is going to be a valuable piece for whichever team selects him.
