Team Needs:

Quarterback

Overview

Aaron Rodgers is the presumed QB1 for ideally the next two years. Beyond that, it is murky. The Jets need a credible veteran backup, unless you consider Tim Boyle that guy (major Luke Falk vibes) and a long term developmental backup, unless you consider Zach Wilson that guy (seems unlikely!). It wouldn't hurt the Jets to give themselves some flexibility to flip Wilson for a pick this summer by finding a quarterback they'd like to develop on day three. They have sat out drafting a mid round quarterback since James Morgan in 2020 so it may be time for another at bat.
